Sea of Lettuce

Sea of Lettuce is an indie-rock group from Calgary, AB, with a fresh spin on the genre’s typical sound. Since forming back in late 2016, the band has gone on to develop a discography that captures the feel of the sunny city they reside in. Blending components of reflective lyricism with upbeat catchy instrumentation, Sea of Lettuce’s catalogue is full of summer soundtracks meant to be listened to while enjoying days in the sun.

The group consists of four long-time friends, who came together out of a shared passion for music in all forms. Through bringing in their various influences, this led to the development of a unique style that mixes together elements of indie-pop, surf rock, and vibrant acoustics all into one sound. Since their early days of performing, the band has refined a high-energy live presence that appeals to both longtime fans and new audiences.

Sea of Lettuce has released two EPs and four full-length albums, garnering strong support both locally and globally. The band has reached over 30M streams across streaming platforms, along with gaining momentum through social media and radio. This includes their most recent album “Any Day Now”, which arrived in June 2024, debuting in the Canadian Campus Radio Top 10. Up next, their newest EP titled “Open Doors” is slated for release in April 2026.
