Ali Hassan
Host
Ali Hassan is a Stand-up Comic, Actor and Radio & Television personality. He is the host of the comedy show Laugh Out Loud on CBC Radio and SiriusXM, and the host of Canada Reads - the annual “battle of the books” celebrating the best of Canadian literature.
Ali toured Canada as part of a Just for Laughs cross-country tour hosted by Rick Mercer, and is on tour again with his One Man show, Does This Taste Funny? Ali has appeared in a number of films, including GOON, Mafia Inc., and My Spy - and numerous television shows, such as Workin’ Moms, Sort Of, Run The Burbs and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. You can see him on television currently in the new seasons of Boston Blue (CBS) and Doc (Fox).

Adam Christie is an award winning stand-up comedian, writer, and actor who has appeared on the television shows Schitt’s Creek and What We Do in the Shadows. He is the former head writer of This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and won a Canadian Screen Award for his work on CBC's Baroness Von Sketch Show. Earlier this year Adam's sophomore album 'Dragonflies' won the Juno award for Comedy Album of the Year. Exclaim Magazine called him ‘one of the most compelling acts in Canada’.
Rebecca Reeds
Rebecca Reeds is a Toronto-based standup comedian, writer and podcaster. She can be heard on Sirius XM, The Debaters, and CBC's LOL. Past festival appearances include Just For Laughs, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, JFL42 and Hubcap Comedy Festival. You can listen to her debut album Buddy on all major streaming platforms. Rebecca co-hosts the award-winning podcast The Villain Was Right featured on The From Superheroes Network.
John Hastings
Over the last twenty years John Hastings has appeared at every major comedy festival in the world including Edinburgh (2012–2019), Melbourne, and Just for Laughs Montreal.
He has told jokes on BBC Radio 4, BBC 1, BBC 3, Comedy Central, CTV, Australian Comedy Channel, and CBC The Comedy Network, as well as Comedy Central UK, which is somehow different.
COCA Comedian of the Year. Amused Moose Comedy Award winner. Martin Sims Award nominee. Briefly a viral sensation after Dennis Rodman heckled him in Los Angeles. Most recently spotted on America's Got Talent with no crowd. Oh and he put out 10 specials in 15 months for mainly no reason.
