The Bell Grandstand Show returns in 2023 with a brand-new, reimagined spectacle of entertainment, featuring Juno-award winning entertainer, Johnny Reid, high energy song and dance performances from The Young Canadians and special guest appearances by Salsa superstars, Swing Latino, daring slackwire diva Tetiana, Calgary Opera, Tony-nominated Broadway star Forrest McClendon and more.

From costumes made of water, to an unbelievable drone show, featuring more drones than ever and all of our spectacular guest performances, and fan-favourite fireworks finale, if you think you’ve seen the Bell Grandstand Show, think again!

Get lost in the wonder as song, dance, technology and special effects collide in a show that will have audiences on their feet through a rhythm-filled journey of heat, sound and heartfelt emotion. The show will hit a crescendo with the fan-favourite fireworks finale.

The Young Canadians

The Bell Grandstand Show is also the premier performance for the Young Canadians School of Performing Arts. This talented group of youth, ages 8-21, put on a dazzling showcase of vocals, choreography and showmanship. The Bell Grandstand show is one of many high-calibre performance training opportunities these young performers receive throughout the year.

Swing Latino

Swing Latino is a World Class dance company, born in Cali - Colombia.  With countless choreographic assemblies, SWING LATINO have crossed borders in more than 100 countries, Swing Latino has taken the "Caleño" dance style to the highest levels of the world show.

Swing Latino has stepped on great stages of the world show, being televised and streaming to millions of spectators at the 2020 Super Bowl, finalists in the reality show World of Dance, choreographers and dancers in two opportunities at the American Music Awards with Jennifer Lopez at the Microsoft Theatre, and winners of  Latin reality show Q'Viva.

Tetiana

Tetiana is a daring Ukrainian slackwire diva who has has showcased her talents on the trapeze wire across the world, including Ukraine, Georgia, Italy, France, Romania, Slovakia and Croatia.

Forrest McClendon

An internationally acclaimed award-winning performer and teacher, Forrest McClendon has proudly supported the Young Canadians as a Master Teacher and Clinician. Widely known for his Tony® nominated Broadway debut as Mr. Tambo in THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS, Forrest has appeared throughout the USA in plays and musicals ranging from THE AMERICA PLAY, AVENUE X, RED VELVET, ROMEO AND JULIET, SEVEN GUITARS, WILD WITH HAPPY and OTHELLO. Forrest has also conducted masterclasses and workshops at all levels in both the UK and US.
