Celebrating over 40 years of artistic excellence, this dynamic exhibition showcases a diverse array of creative areas – from displays showing traditional crafts like textiles, woodwork and ceramics and local & Stampede history to open gallery areas exhibiting contemporary art and photography.
Wander through the Artists' Studios to meet established local and regional Artists, and throughout the space you can engage with live demonstrations, enjoy captivating performances at the Window on the West Stage, and savor fine wines in the Wine Garden.
Whether you're an art enthusiast or a casual visitor, the Art Show offers an inspiring experience that celebrates Western heritage and creativity.
Creative Arts and Crafts Submission

For over 40 years, the Creative Arts & Crafts competition has celebrated community by bringing people together in friendly competition. Sharing skills, traditions, and creativity, this display showcases local talent in a variety of traditional and modern crafts, such as textiles, ceramics, woodwork, and sugar art.
Artists' Studios
Discover a vibrant showcase of original fine art by Canadian Artists in a variety of mediums, such as painting, sculpture, mixed media and more in a curated Art Show. Individual booths allow for stunning visuals and an intimate opportunity to meet and purchase art directly from the Artists.
Art Gallery
This area of the show provides a diverse collection of juried artwork by emerging Artists! The artwork ranges from traditional to abstract and crafted in mediums like oil, bronze, wood, and more! All available for sale.
Miniature Masterpieces
This curated salon wall within the Art Show features original small-format artworks (100 sq inches or less), offering accessible, affordable pieces and spotlighting new talent.
Photo Gallery
This area of the Art Show provides captivating displays of stunning landscapes, charming animals, and iconic images from local and area Photographers and Photographic Organizations. Connect with them directly at the “Photographer’s Corner” to learn more about their work, and how you can apply new techniques to your own photos!
Photo Competition
The Adult and Youth Photo Competitions, located in the Photo Gallery showcase red-ribbon winning images from such categories as Western Landscape and Wildlife, Western Lifestyle and Architecture, Rodeo, Indigenous, and Creative. Adult Competition (18+), Youth Competition (12 to 17 years).
Grade 12 Scholarship Program
This display within the Art Show, showcases the submitted work from the winners of the Southern Alberta Grade 12 students’ art scholarship competition. Additionally, there are select professional art pieces for sale, with the proceeds supporting future awards.
