Take a tour through the Elbow River Camp with our Interpreters.

The Interpretive Program brings a personal touch to the Elbow River Camp experience. Led by proud members of Treaty 7 nations, they share their knowledge of the cultures and traditions of the nations in the Camp, the significance of the painted tipis, and the skills required to produce the traditional items seen throughout.

The Interpreters will also demonstrate traditional outdoor cooking, as they make dried meat, tea, Saskatoonberry soup, and bannock.

Each Interpreter can be easily identified by their red vests and are well-versed in the activities of the Camp. Please ask them any questions you might have!
