Biography

Based in Canmore, Alberta, Tom Hjorleifson is a sculptor known for his bronze works ranging from small-scale to monumental installations.

A self-taught artist, he began sculpting in 1990, drawing inspiration from personal experiences and encounters with wildlife. His works are found in private and corporate collections worldwide.

Artist Statement

My art connects viewers to the wild essence of our world. Inspired by horses, the Rocky Mountain wilderness, and personal experiences, my sculptures capture moments of magic.

I strive to foster a connection between people, nature, and the importance of preserving our landscapes.
