Artist Statement
I am a Western artist passionate about capturing the spirit of rural life on the prairies. While my primary focus is livestock and wildlife, I’ve recently begun exploring the human presence in my work. My medium of choice is oil, which allows me to build depth and richness in my paintings.
Growing up on a purebred cattle and grain farm in Saskatchewan, I developed a deep appreciation for the animals and landscapes that shaped my childhood. My art reflects the joys, challenges, and character-building moments of rural life. Each piece is a tribute to the places and experiences that feel like home.
Beyond my work, I am a wife and mother of two, a role that fills my life with purpose and joy. I couldn’t ask for more.
