Biography

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Amanda Crozier has been captivated by the sweeping prairies and majestic Rocky Mountains since childhood.

A realistic painter, she seeks to capture the essence of Alberta’s landscapes and wildlife, transporting viewers into each moment she creates on canvas.

A graduate of the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (with Distinction), Amanda now operates her own art school.

Her work is proudly exhibited at The Painted Moose Gallery in Bragg Creek. When not painting in her home studio, Amanda enjoys two other passions—riding through the foothills on her horse and exploring nature with her dog, always with a camera in hand.

Artist Statement

I paint what I love and love what I paint. My work holds no hidden messages; it is a celebration of my subjects and an exploration of their depth. I am drawn to nature and all its wonders, and my goal is to transport viewers into the world I see. I want them to feel as though they are standing on the edge of a mountain lake or wandering through a golden field. If I can share that sense of place and evoke a feeling of connection, then I consider my job complete.
