The BMO Junior Reporter Contest gives kids a chance to report on the Calgary Stampede and the exciting events and activities around BMO Kids’ Day. You could be interviewing guests, cowboys, and performers with our radio partner. You will also have the opportunity to appear on TV, with our TV partner, and be featured in newspaper articles following the event.
NEW FOR 2024 The Junior Reporters will get the opportunity to warm up their interviewing skills on June 8, 2024, as part of the BMO Centre Grand Opening and provide a behind-the-scenes tour of the brand-new building.
And you can win one of two great prize packs, including:
$2,500 towards a BMO RESP
$1,500 towards school supplies for the winner’s school
Park entry for four (4) to Stampede Park
Calgary Stampede Evening Show tickets for four (4)
A Western Outfit, Four (4) Midway ride passes, and food vouchers
Contest runs from Tuesday, April 9, 2024, until Friday, May 24, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. MT
Finalists will be called on Friday, May 24, 2024, for an in-person audition on May 28, 2024, for a chance to be a BMO Junior Reporter at BMO Kids' Day on July 10, 2024.
