Biography

Cherisse Mia is a mixed-media artist who transforms natural materials—gemstones, fossils, and organic textures—into immersive landscapes. Growing up surrounded by nature, she developed a love for found objects, which later evolved into a creative practice centered on experimentation and storytelling.

After losing her adult son in 2020, art became a vital source of healing. Through abstract impressionism, she creates works that reflect both nature’s resilience and the human spirit.

Mia exhibits across North America and is represented in multiple galleries. Her work invites viewers to rediscover nature’s magic, forging a deeper connection to the earth’s ancient rhythms.
