As part of our ongoing commitment to community engagement and extending the spirit of the Calgary Stampede year-round, we are proud to introduce a new initiative: 

The Calgary Stampede Champion Award.

This program is designed to spotlight local athletes who not only excel in their sport but also embody the values that define the Stampede spirit: Western hospitality, integrity and commitment to the community.

Thank you to all the teams, coaches, parents and community members who submitted applications for the Calgary Stampede Champion Award. We are incredibly grateful for the enthusiasm and support shown for this new program, created to celebrate young athletes who embody the values of Western hospitality, integrity, and commitment to the community.

Applications for this season are now closed, and we look forward to honouring the outstanding athletes recognized by their teams. Stay tuned for the next installment of our award program - we’ll be opening applications again in the new year.
