This year’s Enmax Corral Show features the amazing Peking Acrobats, a troupe of some of China’s best young acrobats, jugglers, contortionists, gymnasts and tumblers.
The show – which happens 3 times daily at 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm in the Stampede Corral (with an extra show at 10 am on July 9th) is free to all, runs about an hour in length, and features acts of grace and strength, flexibility and control, that leave the audience agape with wonder.
“He’s not going to – he can’t POSSIBLY – OH. MY. GOODNESS.”
I had the good fortune of catching this show on July the 7th, and the reactions from the crowd were tremendous as the young performers went through their routines with what seemed like the greatest of ease. Of particular note were the plate spinning, the juggler who at one point was dealing with 8 balls at a time, and the troupe’s famous “chair stacking” routine, which simply needs to be seen to be believed. They’re certainly not kidding when they say “tell your kids not to try this at home”.
Whether you’re a veteran of dozens of trips to the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth or a first-timer, I’d highly recommend a trip to the Corral Enmax Stage to catch the Peking Acrobats and their take of the Greatest INDOOR Show on Earth, as a tribute to the Chinese Year of the Horse. You won’t be disappointed.
