On the evening of Thursday, July 3, 1,400 Calgarians were bused to an mystery location–which turned out to be Memorial Park for the first ever Diner en Blanc, Calgary.
The Calgary Stampede sponsored the dinner, where invitees dress all in white, bring their own picnic dinner. As a gift, the Stampede handed out white hats to everyone.
A sun shower only made the scene more lovely as white umbrellas joined the sea of stetsons.
Calgary joins a dozen other cities around the world for the pop up picnic tradition, now celebrating its 25th Anniversary, (the first was in Paris). Did you got the Diner en Blanc? Tell us about your evening!
